UPDATED Screening Tool

We are also pleased to share that York Region Public Health has provided a new way to access the screening tool via a HTML webpage that has full Google translate capabilities. The new screening tool will be available on our website. The PDF will also remain available, for those who would like to access a PDF version.

Dismantling Anti-Black Racism Strategy-YRDSB

On March 8, 2021 students, staff, families and community members were invited to the virtual Dismantling Anti-Black Racism Strategy launch event featuring guest presenter Robyn Maynard, author of Policing Black Lives; consultant Tana Turner; Director Louise Sirisko; Board Chair Cynthia Cordova; Trustee Dr. Elizabeth Sinclair; student performances and more.The program examined anti-Black racism in educational institutions and unveiled the Board’s strategy on how to move forward.

Nur Muslim Mentorship Program

Kindergarten Registration 2021 – 2022

Children who turn four or five years old during 2021 and live within our school boundary will be eligible to register for kindergarten. Registration information is available on the YRDSB website at Kindergarten Registration. All new kindergarten registrations will be done online this year.
