Hello Wilshire Families,
I hope everyone has been enjoying the sunshine and heat this summer. I know that there are many questions and some concerns about the return to school for students in September. Hopefully, everyone has been receiving emails from YRDSB with important information regarding the return to school. It will be very important to review these messages as they will outline the protocols and procedures taking place in September.
All parents should have received an email asking for a response as to whether your child will be attending school in person in September, or if you will be keeping your child home to take part in online learning. Please remember that the deadline for this information to be submitted is this Friday. We know that this is a difficult decision for some, but the information is needed in order to have appropriate staffing and programs in place for the first day of school.
If you did not receive an email with the reopening registration form, please visit the YRDSB website to fill it out and let us know your intentions for September at: ow.ly/PJ0X30r3QMZ
The link below contains a copy of the YRDSB Return To School plan which outlines what school will look like in September, including what health and safety protocols will be in place. Please review it so that you know what to expect for your families in September.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we work through these unprecedented times to provide a safe return to school for all students and staff.
