The Wilshire Healthy Schools Team presents…Bully Free Me Pink Shirt Day! On Wednesday, February 24th, students and staff are asked to come to school wearing a pink shirt to help raise awareness for bullying. Pink shirt day was created by two high school students from Nova Scotia. They decided to wear a pink shirt to school to stand up for bullying. Grade 8’s from the Healthy Schools Team will be coming around to take pictures of those students wearing pink T-shirts. We hope that on February 24th, Wilshire can help stand up to bullying and spread kindness by wearing a pink shirt!
We will also be hosting two “Bully Free Me” presentations on this day for our students in Grades 1 to 5 at 11:45am and Grades 6-8 at 1:35pm. Keep up the school spirit, and be Wilshire Proud!
