Through an Arts integrated, inquiry based model, students will be given an opportunity to develop their literacy and math skills.
For Wilshire E.S. students, these reinforcement programs will be offered at Emily Carr S.S. More details can be found here. Registration for these reinforcement programs is done online through Career Cruising, and instructions are available here.
As well, the York Region District School Board is offering a unique program for students currently in grade 8 to transition to secondary school. It is designed to reinforce literacy and numeracy skills with a link to trades and technology. Though registration for this program is NOT regularly open to Wilshire E.S. students, if space permits, registrations from Wilshire E.S. will be considered. More details can be found here.
